The BCO thinks DickRod is an asshole but was more than willing to overlook his character flaws to watch him stick it to w-Fn-vu. However, I gotta admit, it was nice for him to settle out of court for 4 Milllion ... the exact amount he owed the neers according to the buyout in his contract. Way to negotiate them down DickRod.

The new guy, Bill Stewart, he of being fired from VMI fame is due 4 mil from w-Fn-vu over the course of his contract. Not bad for a cash strapped school, that's good bidness.

DickRod isn't completely unhappy, Michigan folded like the BCO at a poker table once the bet goes over 5 dollars and spotted DickRod 2.5 million from their own coin to help him out (along with his lawyer fees.) Basically when the w-Fn-vu lawyers wanted to call the UM brass into court, they kicked DickRod in the ass and told him to end it and take some cash to make it happen. A bit shady, but hey, no one really believes big time collegiate athletics is clean do they? Now w-Fn-vu can get about to handing out phony degrees to the power players in state politics.
