I am under the belief that athletes in every sport are guilty until proven innocent when it comes to Performance Enhancing Drugs. However I do enjoy their excuses they make when admitting, denying or whatever when confronted. Here are my MLB favorites, with some excuses I am sure to have missed. Yes, this has been done before, probably better and worse, but the hell with them, this is my blog.

I really, really love how Sammy Sosa who speaks perfectly fine english forgot in front of Congress, rather than lie directly about it. Andy Pettitte's is weak too, but he gets a pass for being a nice guy, anyone else likely gets hammered. Mike Morse had a good one too, 2 years huh, that's a helluva steroid.
Sosa, ARod, Raffy and Bonds likely have cost them any shot of getting in the HoF in the next 25 years. ARod and Bonds had the talent to get in without cheating.
I'd go deeper in the subject, like I had planned but the Caps game after yard work has me drained and uninspired, plus this topic is a ....
